This New York native has a passion for blondes and balayage. Candis prides herself in being an understanding and free spirited stylist who isn’t afraid of getting creative. Her summer cali style pairs perfectly with her love of long hair and color corrective work. Outside of the salon you can find her walking dogs and perfecting her craft through education.
Betsy has worked with some of the top players in the beauty industry in Los Angeles and Chicago, but she is a true New Yorker at heart. She trained under Kien Hoang, a member of celebrity stylist Oribe’s personal styling team, and she has done on set styling for photoshoots for Refinery29 and Nylon magazine. Betsy loves fresh, natural-looking blondes, and she gives her client a gentle, sun-kissed look that compliments her complexion and makes her eyes sparkle. She keeps her cutting skills up-to-date and delicate, ensuring that whether you are grabbing lunch with a friend, at the office, or out on the town for the night, you always look refined and alluring!

Born in Seoul and raised in NYC, Helen’s aesthetic has been honed from observing the beauty of fine textiles, minimal design and the raw edge of street style. This is where her love of Hair began. After following her heart to NYC, Alison found a home at Fox and Jane. Being one of our original Foxes, she has gone from LES, to successfully managing EV for 5 years, and now has brought her magic touch to Bowery. Specializing in color, hair painting, and textured cuts you are certain to find your groove with her and some incredible hair to match. When she isn’t in the salon she’s with her son, ask her about him and get ready to smile through your whole experience.
Tara is heavily inspired by vintage fashion and has a keen eye for style. Raised in both New York and Australia she grew up admiring style icons Jane Birkin and Brigette Bardot. Tara has a special love for all things blonde but never turns down a good balayage or a funky color. Easy to talk to she is always up for a challenge and will help you achieve anything from chic, edgy or effortless.
Mariano comes to Fox & Jane all the way from Italy where he has developed a passion for natural colors along with men and women’s cuts. This classic stylist has had the chance to work with Laurie Foley, Lena Ott, and Mauricio Bermudez, but he feels most grateful for all of the people he has met throughout these experiences. Behind the chair, Mariano is an attentive and open-minded stylist who loves to emphasize and elevate each and every client’s hairstyle. On his off time, he enjoys engulfing himself in music.
Starting his career in Massachusetts Matt never really knew where he wanted it to take him, he just knew that he loved the possibilities. Having tried several different avenues, approaches, and states, Matt happily followed his heart back to NYC. With experience in photo, video, and runway styling Matt has become proficient in both cut and natural color. The goal he has for every person who sits in their chair is to give them a good laugh, a great style, and to bring out the confidence they need to seize the day.
Shay, a native of Brooklyn, is a dynamic stylist who draws her inspiration from a multitude of artistic mediums. A painter at heart, Shay can beautifully translate her clients visions for color with creativity and functionality. She has an extensive background in hairdressing for film, television, music, as well as runway and editorial work, her ingenuity continues to be at the forefront. As an educator for the Fox and Jane team, Shay strives to stay ahead of the curve with the latest techniques and trends and enjoys sharing knowledge and experience with her students. Shay receives great joy from serving her clients, and helping to transform them into their most beautiful selves.

Rachel prides herself on taking the client’s lifestyle, hair and features into account as she hand delivers quality work. Her background in education with Oribe and Rene Furterer have kept her a step ahead of the trend and at the top of her field in not only style but also customer service. Rachel is a go-getter with a soft approach – her clients often say that she has changed their perception of getting their hair done as she guides them into a range of expert looks from pixie cuts to extension, and of course her very own style of master color work – with a gentle but exceptional eye for design.
Back in 2008, starting her career in South Florida, Kiki had her sights set on NYC from the beginning. After moving here in 2013 she quickly moved through the ranks of a fox. From her days as an assistant, to her years as a leading stylist, to her role as an educator… Kiki is always finding a way to do more. For clients her approach is calm, well educated, and versatile. Kelsey is a first-rate stylist, as well as an exceptional makeup artist! She has eight years of behind-the-chair experience, and she is still just as passionate about making you look and feel your best as she was the day that she began her career. She has been heavily influenced by classes with Nick Arrojo and John C. Simpson, believing that a stylist can “never stop learning.” Kelsey’s career started in Iowa, where she worked at her local area’s first rock and roll-inspired salon. She quickly became well-known for her vintage-inspired hairstyles and fashion-forward colors. She takes her job very seriously, but her warm and good-natured Midwestern disposition will always put you at ease.
Although Clara loves styling from season to season and mastering current trends, she is dedicated to delivering what looks and feels best for each client. Clara received her primary training with Toni and Guy in Dallas, and has continued her education at Bumble and Bumble in New York and with companies such as Kevin Murphy, John Allan’s and Wella. In 2012, Clara’s color work was featured in a write up on Reﬁnery29’s Beauty Black Book list! During her time here she has become a go-to girl for blondes, short classic, or edgy cuts of any type. When she isn’t behind the chair, she can be found searching for vintage pieces, riding her bike, or infusing liquor.
